Souderton, PA.  April 1 – Solar Atmospheres and Solar Manufacturing announce that Harry Hall will assume the role of a sales representative focusing on the vacuum processing markets of Canada.

Harry is no stranger to the heat treating industry.  In 1989, Harry founded Aberfoyle Metal Treaters Ltd. in Guelph, Ontario.  He established a specialized business consisting of large-scale heat treating for heavy industry including steel mills, nuclear power, hydro-electric, petrochemical and large machine shops.  In recent years, his company heat treated and thermally straightened large complex composite tools for the Boeing 787 Dreamliner and the Airbus A350. His new venture of sales and consulting for the heat treating industry will be named H.G. Hall Inter-Connect, Inc.

Harry has participated in many trade and business associations over many years. He is a long standing board member of Metal Treating Institute (MTI), serving as president in 2002, and was recognized as Master Craftsman Heat Treater of the Year for North America.  In 2011, he received the Heritage Award, the most prestigious award from MTI.  In 2009, he was nominated as Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young.  He also served on the board of directors for the Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (CME Ontario) from 2009-2015.
