Solar Atmospheres of Western PA Obtains Bell Helicopter Approval

Solar’s alloy grid supplier, Steeltech Ltd, flew their Bell Jet Ranger in from Michigan to Western Pennsylvania for this specific photo opportunity In the foreground is the largest vacuum furnace that is commercially available in the world.

Hermitage, PA. December 15, 2014 – Solar Atmospheres of Western PA (SAWPA) announced today that it has attained an approved supplier status for Bell Helicopter Textron, Inc.  SAWPA has received approval for the heat treatment of steel and titanium alloy components used in the production of Bell Helicopters.
